If you’ve been here for awhile, you know my youngest girl is horse obsessed! Her birthday is in July and this will be the first year she’s not doing a horse themed party. Well, last year it was zebra themed, but that’s only because of the movie Racing Stripes; a zebra that thinks he’s a race horse.

I made over an old toy barn two years ago and i completely forgot to share the results with you! It’s still sitting in our playroom shelf today beside a big bin of horse toys.

There was nothing wrong with the red barn. It was super cute, but I wanted to change it up a bit because it got so much use. Clearly very well loved, I decided to paint it and give it a little modern look for our Oaky girl.

I also “stained” the wood on the inside too! And added some whimsical accessories on the inside.

There’s even poop in the stalls haha.

I think it turned out really sweet and the new accessories were a huge hit with the birthday girl!
