Books I’ve read lately

I haven’t been much of a reader in the past, but recently I’ve started incorporating a good book into my mom routine. It’s been a nice little escape while the kids are playing or reading, too. Every parent understands the need for little mental breaks! And what better way to be transported momentarily into a different world and drenched into a dream story.

I’ve also stopped watching shows at nighttime unless I’m watching something special with Nick- and have swapped it for a book in bed. It’s been a great way to unwind before hitting the hay.

If you’re a newbie reader like me, these are incredible books to be immediately immersed into! I promise they will hold your attention and you won’t know how you just combed through 50 pages in a blink.

Heart Bones, Reminders of Him and Our Perfect Storm were my favourites. Layla was the only one I couldn’t finish… was a harder read for me to get into with paranormal activity mixed with romance (not my jam).
