Today has been filled with so many amazing moments. My two girls went to our neighbour’s house to make cookies and later she joined us for homemade Chinese food. Being far from family, it was so nice to have her join our crazy crew and give our kids attention and care. You don’t realize how much your kids need that until you see it.

We enjoyed our time together and ended the night with watching The Switch and then reading The Night Before Christmas (a tradition).

While the kids were soundly sleeping, to our surprise we met a very special guest!!! We can’t wait to show the kids these pics we snapped in the morning!

Then we got busy setting up a few of the larger gifts…

Eeeek! I love Christmas Eve and I pray that all is calm in our town so that Nick doesn’t get called out tomorrow 🤞(fingers crossed!).
