Baby Registry Ideas

Creating a baby registry can be a little daunting for first time mommas. I’ve created a list of items to help you get started! I recommend compiling all items on My Registry (www.myregistry.com) so that friends and family can purchase items from multiple locations or check it off if they find it somewhere else for a better price! I’ve also heard Amazon being a great spot to create a registry!

This stroller has been the best! We call it “the house” because it has quite the presence and is pretty sturdy! We’ve had so many different configurations including 2 seats and a car seat carrier when we had 3 under 3 years old!

You may not think you need this, but if you have any stairs this is super helpful. It won’t be long before baby is crawling or learning to walk. Safety first!

I got this later in the game and wish I had it for my first two babies! The last two LOVED this chair and its motions. It’s super helpful when you have a colic baby or need a little break. We called this the poop chair for my youngest because the motion always relaxed his tummy and he would sit and poop while babbling to the colourful balls.

We still use this in our kids rooms. It does take their immune systems a little longer to develop when they’re a baby, so this will help clear their respiratory system while sleeping if they did pick up a virus.

Both Nick and I used our wrap with every kid! It helps them feel close to you and it’s helpful for carrying your little babe around.

I would put baby cereal and yogurt puffs on the tray and my babies would spin around for 30-40 minutes at a time! It would live in our kitchen and be mommas time to cook and baby’s time to play in a supported seated/standing position!

These are so handy when your little one is pulling themselves up and learning to walk! We would take ours around the neighborhood and in our home.

These were a favourite! They’re also recommended by midwives! They support natural breastfeeding – as both the specific length and shape of BIBS dummy gives the baby the correct sucking technique at the breast.

SOME OTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER

– Diapering needs (boxes of diapers, wipes, wipe warmer- if you wish, diaper genie/garbage disposal, diaper rash cream). Did you know newborns can go through 10-12 diapers a day? Expect to have on hand a lot of newborn and size one boxes.
