Have you been coveting the trendy indoor potted plants you see everywhere right now? Currently my favourite is the Olive Tree!

They vary from size and fullness but they’re so beautiful and add some life to every space!

I wanted to try and make my own artificial olive tree- and I’m not hating it, friends!

All you need to make yours is:

-a branch from the woods or backyard

-floral tape in a similar colour as your branch

-foam for base

-rocks or stones

-a base of your choice

-artificial greenery (I ordered my Olive Branches off of Amazon)

Step one: cut the branches in small pieces instead of one stem with multiple branches you want individual pieces.

Step two: put the foam into your base the put your branch into the foam. Help support it with rocks and stones.

Step three: start taping the stems! Tape them upwards like a real tree!

Step four: fill in the base with more rocks and stones or moss!
