PAW PATROL
Our kids were huge into Paw Patrol one year so we dressed up as the Paw Patrol family! The kids were Chase, Everest and Skye. Nana was Mayor Goodway holding Chickaletta (yes that’s our dog in a chicken costume), Dad (Nick) was Mayor Humdinger and held our pet cat as his “kittie” and I was Farmer Yumi. It was so much fun having the whole family dressed up- even the pets!

OUR LITTLE ZOO
For Paxton’s first Halloween we dressed him up in a cute and cozy rhino costume and us parents were the zoo keepers. We even made our own Toronto Zoo employee badges on lanyards! This was an easy peasy costume idea! Just dress in all beige and kaki and wear hats and boots or sneakers with high socks and you’re golden!

NO MORE MONKEYS JUMPING ON THE BED
This was a cute and original one! Larkin was the doctor, Paxton and baby Oaklin were the monkeys and Nick and I were the parents in bedtime robes calling the doctor. We dressed up and took our picture on a crib mattress for the monkeys to jump on. The kids thought it was so funny!

MONSTER FAMILY
We danced to the Monster Mash and had a blast in our family monster costumes! Mom and Dad’s were homemade with thrifted items and craft supplies!

COPS AND COFFEE
This was the year Nick joined the Toronto Police and we had to do something police related! Paxton was just learning to walk so we made a little police car using his toy walker and cardboard. He loved practicing his walking while going door to door! Nick and I were Starbucks coffee and cutie pie Larkin was the sweetest sprinkled donut! How could we not include a donut!!

Which one is your favourite? What will your family be for Halloween this year?
