I DON’T WANT TO WAIT ANYMORE. I BELIEVE THERE IS NOTHING MORE SACRED OR PROFOUND THEN THIS DAY.

 

This title has been sitting in my Drafts for years and I felt like I had to finish it one day.

It’s something we talk about frequently as a family, in fact. To be brave enough to do the hard things; the things worth doing.

I often think about all of the chances I’ve taken in my adulthood. That moment you can tangibly feel change on the horizon. You’re on the edge of yourself ready for more, if only you can take one step forward- bravely walking in uncharted waters.

A lot of things in life can be robbed by fear. Chances that come and go so quickly you barely notice the opportunity in front of you because of fear.

If I let fear win I wouldn’t have…

Literally changed the direction my life was heading.

Got on a plane to meet internet friends who changed my life for the better.

Walked up to a group of strangers where I met my future husband.

Changed churches to one that felt like home.

Became a mother.

And ten months later becoming a mother to two.

…then a year later to another.

And a few years later to one more.

Started my own business.

Moved to a different province.

Pursued healing and self growth (on going!).

Decided to stop the business I lovingly created to pursue a peaceful home life.

All these incredible blessings and opportunities would have passed me by if I didn’t jump in and learn to swim.

What is fear taking from you?
